Continuing from our daytime prayer gathering, we took time with the "Swedish Method" of Bible study to dig into new insights into our Bible passage for the day.
We were reminded that our unity [rather than our uniformity] is discovered most deeply in the phrase "we were all given one Spirit to drink"
We were also reminded that God gives us an abundance of his grace, not "just enough to go around"
We identified ways in which we fall into the human tendency to "mock what we do not know" and used Chris's "Holy Shredder" to symbolise getting rid of these attitudes.
We took time to thank God for the signs of unity and encouragement shown between churches and church groups, looking back on particular relationships and projects that have symbolised our unity.
